Lloyd W Kendall Jr

Lloyd W. Kendall, Jr. is a tax attorney as well as the former owner and president of Lawyers Asset Management, Inc. In 1978, he entered private practice specializing in tax and real estate law. For six years prior to entering private practice, he was employed with the Internal Revenue Service.

Mr. Kendall has been involved in structuring and implementing I.R.C. §1031 like-kind exchanges since 1979. During his career, he has counseled investors, title and escrow company personnel, other tax attorneys, attorneys, CPA’s, accountants, tax return preparers, intermediaries, real estate agents and brokers, and others on the many aspects of tax free exchanging. Structuring in excess of 30,000 exchanges throughout the United States, Mr. Kendall and his former company Lawyers Asset Management, Inc., have produced tax savings for their clients estimated to be in excess of two billion dollars.

Mr. Kendall is an expert in exchanges involving complex issues and multiple properties, and makes himself available to anyone with a need or desire to plan an exchange. Mr. Kendall is also tax counsel for several title companies, providing backup, technical, and legal support for their exchange staff. He has lectured extensively on the subject of 1031 exchanges and has enjoyed presenting exchange concepts to over 500 professional organizations and thousands of individuals who have used his services.
